Hi there, I’m Joann Fleckenstein, MS, OTR/L, founder of Across All Ages Therapy.
Joann has been an occupational therapist since 2005 after graduating with her BS/MS in Occupational Therapy from Brenau University. She grew up listening to her parents (her mother an occupational therapist and her father a pediatrician and epidemiologist) discuss therapeutic ideas, debate the merits of treatment models, and describe clinical challenges at the dinner table.
Her interest lies in supporting clients and families through neurological differences and disorders across the lifespan from Autism to Alzheimer’s. Joann is a parent herself and has been a caregiver to the elderly. She has first-hand understanding of the unique emotional challenges that parents and caregivers face as they support their families.
